How to sign up for WAYWAY?

User need to download and install mobile application for Rider or Driver according to their device platform (iOS/Android) and follow the below steps:

  1. User enters a valid phone number with respect to country code.
  2. User receives a verification code through SMS on registered phone number.
  3. After entering the verification code in application, user will get redirected to profile page where he/she can enter all the required information and starts using the WAYWAY apps.

Note: To become a driver with WAYWAY, admin first check and verify driver’s account and if found everything to be correct then he can approve driver’s account. Driver will receive an email once admin approved his profile.

How do I enter payment information?

For Riders:

  • Rider can add multiple debit and credit cards from the Manage Cards section, under side menu of WAYWAY rider app.
  • To receive the amount earned from referred users directly into bank account, rider will need to link bank account with the WAYWAY app. Rider can link bank account anytime from Earnings section, under side menu of WAYWAY rider app.
  • Payouts to bank account take place every week, payouts related information gets displayed under Earnings.
  • To receive payout into the bank account, earnings must be accumulated to $100.

For Drivers:

  • In order to take payments of rides and to receive the amount earned from referred users directly into bank account, driver will need to link bank account with the app. Driver can link bank account from Earnings section, under side menu of WAYWAY driver app.
  • Payouts to bank account take place every week, payouts related information gets displayed under Earnings.
  • To receive payout into the bank account, earnings must be accumulated to $100.

Note: To start receiving ride requests, it is mandatory to link bank account with driver app.

How do I pay for a ride?

  • We accept all major debit and credit cards e.g. Visa, Mastercard, Amex. Currently we provide support for only card payments.
  • If rider is placing the ride request for the first time, app will automatically ask to enter card details. At the end of the ride, fare will be automatically deducted, and rider will get notification for the deducted amount.
  • First card added by rider will be set as default payment source for next bookings.Rider can manage multiple cards or change default payment source anytime from the Manage Cards section, under side menu of WAYWAY rider app.

Note: If payment fails for some reason, then app will ask rider to pay driver in cash.

How do I rate my driver?

  • How to Rate Your Driver – After each ride, you’ll have the opportunity to rate the driver, and they will rate you. When requesting a ride, you’ll be able to see your driver’s rating and they’ll be able to see yours. MarVen has rigorous standards for drivers, and each rating you give can have an impact on that driver’s future with MarVen and possibly their compensation. In addition, passengers with a low star rating may not have their requests accepted as often.
  • What should factor into the star rating I give my driver?The star rating should be based on your interaction with the driver during the ride. When choosing a rating, consider the following (each represents one star…if the driver was deficient in an area he/she should not receive a star for that):

    • Does the driver talk on the phone or text while driving? If the driver texts or engages in a conversation on the phone, while driving, and it is not an emergency, this should be an automatic “1” star rating regardless of how well the remainder of the ride went.
    • Was the driver attentive to the road, a safe driver, and a good navigator?
    • Does the driver attempt to assist you with the door and your baggage, luggage, belongings?
    • Was the driver friendly?
    • Were you comfortable and did the experience make you want to use MarVen again?

How are riders rated?

  • How they leave the vehicle (cleanliness).
  • How they interact with the driver (no beligerance).

How to navigate the WAYWAY apps?

For Riders:

  • Rider can track driver till the arrival.

For Drivers:

  • Driver can track the current position in WAYWAY Driver app, also can use Google Maps App for the navigation by tapping on navigation button on ride page.

Note: Drivers must allow “Always” permission for iOS and “High Accuracy” for Android, in order to have hassle free navigation environment and deliver the same to their riders.

How does the WAYWAY Referral System work?

  • For drivers referring drivers.

    • Each driver that signs up is provided a referral code.
      • Give your referral code to those you want to refer to drive for the WAYWAY platform.
      • Your referred drivers should sign up using your referral code.
      • Your referrals are tied to you through your referral code.
        • Presently, WAYWAY does not require new drivers to sign up using a referral code. That means, you must persuade your referrals to use your referral code when signing up.
        • WAYWAY is not responsible for drivers not signing up with provided referral codes.
      • You will be awarded a percentage of each of your referred drivers fare earnings.
        • This percentage is set by WAYWAY.
      • Referral relationships are “permanent” – for as long as both drivers are with WAYWAY.
      • WAYWAY reserves the right to base referral bonus payouts on driver operational and customer service performances.
  • For drivers referring riders.

    • Each driver that signs up is provided a referral code.
      • Give your referral code to those you want to refer to ride on the WAYWAY platform.
      • Your referred riders should sign up using your referral code.
      • Your referred riders are tied to you through your referral code.
        • Presently, WAYWAY does not require new riders to sign up using a referral code. That means, you must persuade your referrals to use your referral code when signing up.
        • WAYWAY is not responsible for riders not signing up with provided referral codes.
